Food Security & Livelihoods — program

Food security and livelihoods assistance strengthens household food security through short- and medium-term strategies. Activities can include food, cash, or vouchers where suitable; distribution of livelihood inputs such as agricultural tools or small-scale supplies; and connections to services that help households rebuild productive capacity. MHA supports community-based targeting where possible, offers guidance on livelihood practices, and monitors food security conditions and community feedback to adjust assistance and buffer seasonal shocks and longer-term vulnerability.
