Shelter and NFI assistance helps households meet immediate safety and dignity needs. Activities include distributing essential NFIs—blankets, hygiene items, cooking utensils, and weather-appropriate supplies—and supporting emergency shelter options suited to local context. MHA works with communities to identify shelter gaps, prioritize vulnerable households, and strengthen preparedness. Where relevant we coordinate referrals for specialized shelter support and apply safe distribution practices to protect affected people and reduce risks.
