Youth engagement builds resilience through literacy and numeracy—including storytelling, interactive learning, and digital tools where feasible—plus budgeting, financial literacy, and practical math for daily decisions. Hands-on vocational training in agriculture, entrepreneurship, and technology, with workshops and mentorship, supports employability. Peer-led activities, community service, and psychosocial referrals help youth support one another and reduce harmful coping. MHA has implemented youth engagement activities with EDC, DRC, SFCG, and four other national NGOs across Leer, Mayiandit, Panyijiar, Duk, and Uror counties.
